Gnomedex is a conference revolving around technology, social media and what tech holds in store for the future.  Since so much of what we do here at Moosicorn is shared on-line and is a facilitated through unique applications of new technology, we were asked to join them this year.  We will be discussing with the audience much of what is happening at Moosicorn and what we feel this approach means for the future.  Bring your smart-phones, laptops and iPads and join us for this yearly Seattle event!

Inland Northwest Radio Blog of the Week

Moosicorn Ranch was kindly mentioned on YearOfPlenty.org and DownToEarthNW.com . They are both organizations/blogs that we respect and follow closely, so we were flattered to be featured. Down to Earth NW “is committed to reporting and sharing environmental news and sustainability information from across the Inland Northwest.” Year of Plenty is a blog written by Spokane’s Craig Goodwin. He is a “backyard farmer, blogger, exploring the intersections of food and faith, Presbyterian pastor, community organizer, and master food preserver.”

This photo of our site prep will be appearing in the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s Architecture Handbook. CAF is a non-profit organization “dedicated to advancing public interest and education in architecture and related design” (CAF). The Architecture Handbook, which will be released in the Fall of 2010, is an interactive web-based curriculum for high school students and their educators. The photo will appear in the building and land dimensions segment.
