The Well

Posted by Scott on 26 Jan 2009 / 0 Comment

Drilling the well was one of those things we really couldn’t handle ourselves, so after choosing our well location we hired a well company to drill for us. Originally they drilled past the aquifer by about 120′ and we got really nervous that our budget and dream wasn’t going to come to fruition. But after the dust settled we wound up with a great well back up at about 95′ down, and they didn’t charge us for the over drilling from there down to 200′+. Here are the details for the well, starting with the original sketch for the plan we were going for, drawn out by the well rep.
